About Levels

We’ve identified levels to keep you safe and to help you feel comfortable and able to learn. Mixed level classes allow the teacher to help students practice their own yoga within a range of safe practice levels. If you aren’t sure of the appropriateness of a class for you, please speak with one of our teachers by phone or in class.

Level 1

Focus on proper alignment and the fundamentals. Appropriate for all levels.

Level 2

Continuing focus on proper alignment and fundamentals, building strength, flexibility and body awareness. Exploration of new and more challenging poses. Some prior experience recommended.

Level 3

A more vigorous practice for students with firm understanding of body alignment and who demonstrate ability to move between poses without risking injury. Prior experience recommended.
